WORKSHOPS AND SPECIALIZED COURSES
THE ALL-CLASS HOLIDAY PASS (One pass for everything.)
Sunday November 27th through Saturday December 17th $30
Take any and all yoga and Nia classes and workshops on this one pass during Holiday Term. (Maximum 4 per week please). An opportunity to try a number of classes and teachers on one pass. A way for you to drop in when you can during the chaos of the holidays. Not transferable, no make-ups, and subject to space in the classroom (though we have never needed to turn anyone away on the Holiday Pass).
MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (MBSR) PROGRAM
Find your wisdom to face stress, chronic pain, or illness in this acclaimed course.
The next 8-Week Program meets Thursday evenings 6:00-8:30pm. April 5th to May 24th with an all-day retreat on Sunday May 13th.
Completed application and instructor interview are required. Call or email anytime to arrange your application and interview. $290 by March 29th, 2012.
Tuition will be $340 thereafter. You also receive a half-term (five) of our regular yoga classes with your MBSR registration as part of the curriculum. Learn More

This free 90 minute Orientation Course will help you understand what the MBSR 8-Week Program is all about. You will meet our teachers and learn some new things in our own safe, well-equipped classrooms. We will practice a few of the techniques you'll learn more about in the Program, and review MBSR's history, research and curriculum. Watch video interviews with our MBSR Course graduates. You must interview with a teacher and apply if you plan to register for the MBSR Program. Bring your completed application if you intend to enroll. There will be time at the end of the class for your interview if you choose to register. Otherwise just come and learn something new and helpful with some nice people. Our Forum Evening Series continues this Winter with an exploration of how the healing experiences we have in such self-care practices as yoga and mindfulness may have their roots in the mythology of the hero. We'll share the literature of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung, visual arts, recent neurological and medical evidence pointing toward this.
CHAIR YOGA: ADAPTIVE, THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE
Thursdays, Starting January 5th

Practicing mindful movement adapted for those who need or prefer to stay seated. A course designed to support you in staying healthy and mobile through the challenges of chronic pain and limited mobility. DVD included with your tuition. See our weekly schedule.
THE NIA TECHNIQUE WEEKLY CLASSES
Weekly classes. One class per week. See the schedule for times and days. $90. Nia is a sensory-based movement and lifestyle practice that leads to health, wellness and fitness. It empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Classes are taken barefoot to soul-stirring music. Nia draws from disciplines of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core and the upper extremities. Stiff beginners and fit athletes alike can adapt Nia to meet their needs by choosing from three intensity levels.
